Frequently Asked Questions
To better assist our customers and participants we have compiled some of the most frequently asked questions regarding this site, leagues, happy hours, and other CSL events and outings.
LEAGUES
1. What is the league policy for rainout's?
We make every attempt to play our leagues on a week to week basis. However if a league does get cancelled due to rain, field conditions arising out of the previous days rain, or acts of God, there will be every effort made to notify your teams captain. Depending on the number of leagues, and size of leagues running on a night we will attempt to contact captains, first by email, second by phone. If a cancellation is made after office hours, captains can check the office voicemail, (533-9386), or the home page on the web site, www.gocsl.com. In either case instructions will be clearly stated as on how to proceed.
2. When do we get our league t-shirts and can we use them as uniforms?
Every participant that plays in a CSL league will receive a league t-shirt, assuming they have fully filled out their league waiver. The league t-shirt is the same design and color for all leagues, and there fore is not a team uniform. League t-shirts are generally given out between the sixth week of the league and the first week of playoffs.
We recommend that teams purchase their own t-shirts of solid colors if they wish to have a team uniform. T-shirts can be ordered from
Arrasmith Promotions, the official t-shirt printer of Cincinnati
Sports Leagues. Call 513-681-9400 and ask for Jerry Jr.
3. I'm an individual and have registered for a league and have not yet been placed on a team, has my check been cashed, and what the heck is taking so long?
Individual placement is tricky, and not every individual who registers gets placed. The payment you mail to us, or send electronically we use to hold your spot on our individual placement board. As soon as we have found a home for you we notify you by phone, letting you know that we have placed you on a team. The process of placing individuals is timely, and sometimes we don't get individuals placed until the start of the second week of the season. Please be patient. As soon as we have information for you, we will pass it along.
On the chance any individual does not get placed, we will notify that individual and give them a full refund no later the 14 days after the start of the league they registered for.
4. I registered my team via fax, and have not yet paid. I am trying to collect all the money from my teammates before I pay you. When is the latest I can pay CSL?
We realize that the captains often get stuck with the bill for the league, and often don't see money from paying team members until late in the season, but your league fee needs to paid in full prior to your team taking the field the first week of the season. Cincinnati Sports Leagues now takes credit cards online, and that is one way to defer payments, until you collect from your team. Any team that is not paid in full by the first week, will not be allowed to take the field.
5. How old do I have to be to play/ participate in a
CSL league, event or party?
All Cincinnati Sports Leagues events, parties,
outings and leagues are 21 and older events. We promote
products that are unsuitable for people under the age of 21.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this policy please
contact the CSL office at 513-533-9386.
